New Breast Imaging Center opens in Boca Raton: CARE Diagnostics for Woman

CARE Diagnostics for Women – the Center for Advanced Radiologic Evaluation, is slated to open doors March 1st, 2010 in Boca Raton, FL. CARE Diagnostics is an imaging center exclusively for women, offering screening and diagnostic mammography with Computer Aided Detection (CAD),  breast ultrasound,  stereotactic and ultrasound guided breast biopsy.

All exams performed at CARE are digital. The addition of CAD in mammography significantly increases the accuracy rate of test results. Research conducted by the American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN) has shown that Digital Mammography is a valuable diagnostic tool for women under age 50, pre- or perimenopausal women, and women with dense breasts.
